Establishment of the preparatory committee of Tsukuba College of Technology, at the University of Tsukuba.

Part of the Law for Establishing National Schools amended to allow the establishment of Tsukuba College of Technology (three-year college); Dr. MIURA Isao assumed office as President of the College.

First Graduation Ceremony of the Division for the Hearing Impaired.
